Hello, Potential New Members!

MEET MORGAN

2025-2026 vp: membership

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Morgan Hanson, and I am so excited to serve as Delta Gamma’s VP: membership. On behalf of our chapter, we cannot wait to meet you and welcome you into the Panhellenic community!

Recruitment is such a unique experience. It can feel exciting, overwhelming, emotional, and empowering all at once — and that is completely normal. What makes recruitment so meaningful is that every person’s experience looks different. There is no “right” way to go through it. This process is about getting to know yourself, forming genuine connections, and finding the places and people that make you feel comfortable, supported, and excited to grow.

One of my favorite things about recruitment is the opportunity to have conversations that are real. When I walked into Delta Gamma, I felt a sense of comfort that stood out to me immediately. I never felt pressured to be anyone other than myself, and the women I met made me feel valued for exactly who I was. The more conversations I had, the more I could picture myself growing alongside them — not only as a student, but as a friend, leader, and person.

Since joining Delta Gamma, I have found friendships that support me through every season of life, opportunities that have challenged me to grow, and a community that continues to encourage me to become the best version of myself. Through leadership, service, sisterhood, and everyday moments, Delta Gamma has become a place that truly feels like home to me.

As you begin recruitment, I encourage you to stay open-minded and give yourself permission to fully experience each moment. Allow yourself to lean into the conversations, connections, and opportunities in front of you. Most importantly, trust yourself and what feels genuine to you. Your experience is your own, and that is what makes it special.

We are so excited to meet each of you and cannot wait to be part of your journey throughout recruitment week.

With love,

Morgan Hanson

The New Member Experience

information for potential new members & families regarding the new member period

DEAR POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS & FAMILY,

We are SO happy to welcome you to the Do Good Sisterhood! The Delta Gamma Fraternity is founded on principles of friendship, social responsibility, promoting educational and cultural interests, and developing one’s character. By joining the Saint Louis University chapter of Delta Gamma, you will be joining a strong community of members who will love, support, accept, and challenge you to be the best version of yourself.

After accepting a bid to Delta Gamma, new members will begin an eight week period of transitioning into the chapter. With guidance from the New Member Team, members will engage in meetings that will be focused on building intentional relationships with their member class and the rest of the chapter. The New Member Team will host engaging activities such as a New Member Retreat, movie nights, study groups, sisterhood events, and many other activities aimed at making them our new sisters feel welcomed and valued in our chapter.

We can’t wait to meet you and look forward to seeing all the ways you will grow in Eta Theta! If you have any questions, feel free to contact myself or Mia Williams our Director of New Members. We would be happy to answer any questions you or your family may have about Delta Gamma, Bid Day, and/or the New Member period.

On behalf of Delta Gamma, we welcome you to our amazing sisterhood!

With love,

Megan Roberts
